An Overview of Black Gold

Objective
Black Gold's objective is to provide value added service that promotes an attitude for safety, helps our clients achieve emergency preparedness, and facilitates strong regulatory and stakeholder relationships. We provide our clients and the public with a clear understanding of the hazards associated with oil and gas operations.

Black Gold has five distinct service lines:

  • Emergency Response Plans;
  • Public Consultation;
  • Training and Preparation;
  • Technology (specifically our Rapid Emergency Notification & Communication System ("EMA"), including extensive Mapping capabilities);
  • Health and Safety Programs

Historically, the above safety related services had usually been procured by oil and gas licensees from different service providers. Licensees are increasingly looking to have one entity provide all of its safety related services. Providing all of the above services will allow Black Gold to effectively service the changing needs of the industry.

There are four distinct markets for Emergency Response Planning and Safety services offered by Black Gold.

  • Oil and Gas Exploration and Production (E&P) Companies
  • Midstream Operators (Hydrocarbon Pipeline Transportation Companies)
  • Other Industrial Companies
  • Public Sector and/or Government Agencies
