Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources (ER)

The ER is the lead regulatory agency for the upstream petroleum industry in Saskatchewan and follows the guidelines set out by the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB).
It is the mandate of the Saskatchewan ER to ensure the full and responsible development of Saskatchewan's oil and gas resources. The ER provides information and support on well and facility licensing, license transfers and general information on Petroleum and Natural Gas field operations.
